For the first time ever, the FA World Service Business Convention will be accessible to voting members and attendees BOTH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON.

Why are the costs different?
In order to connect FA members around the world to the World Service Business Convention, FA is facing new costs in 2025 including the use of video equipment and the services of a Parliamentary meeting facilitation firm skilled with helping organizations run secure hybrid meetings where people in person and online can have a smooth experiencing participating and voting. The price of registration to attend virtually reflects these costs. The price of registration to attend in person understands that in-person attendees will incur additional costs for travel, meals, and hotel accomodations.
Deadlines
- The last day to register online to attend the convention is April 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT.
- On-site registration will be available to attend in person in Danvers MA.
- WSC voting members must register before March 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT. Register as a WSC voting member through the same form used to purchase convention registration.
Information for in person attendees
- Hotel reservations are not included in your FA Convention reservation. You must book your room separately. To book your room call 978-777-2500 and use the discount code FA5, or use the LINK TO BOOK HOTEL ROOM AT DOUBLETREE
- Mini-refrigerators and microwaves are available in all guest hotel rooms. A limited number of larger refrigerators and microwaves will be available in the hotel hospitality suites throughout the weekend.
- CANCELLATION PROCEDURE: Please cancel your room reservation at the DoubleTree by Hilton directly with the hotel — the FA Office does not handle room cancellations.
- Meal Plan: We provide only one food plan for the Business Convention. Members that choose not to buy the food plan are welcome to bring their own food and eat in the hospitality suites provided by the hotel. If you are planning to arrive past 7:00pm on Friday, May 30, please arrange for your own meal, as the hotel will not serve latecomers. Note you will not be allowed to change your meal plan after you have paid/registered.
- Ride and Lodging List. If you'd like to share a room or transportation with other fellows, add your information to the Ride and Lodging Sharing List.
- Want to be of service at convention? Sign up to volunteer as a Greeter, Registration Assistant, and/or Room Assistant.
Apply for a WSI Board Officer or Committee Chair Position
The following positions are open for election: Secretary, Treasurer, Literature Chair, Public Information Chair, Service Group Support Chair, Twelfth-Step Chair. Refer to WSI Officer and Committee Chair Position Responsibilities for details.

Submit a Motion
As determined at the 2008 WSBC, motions can be submitted by Intergroups, Chapters, WSI Committees, or the WSI Board. Refer to the Motion Submission Procedure for details.

Financial Aid for voting members is available through your intergroup. If you are a voting member and the costs of registration or travel would prevent you from attending Convention in 2025, please apply for Financial Aid through one of the links below:
