The Privacy Policy for Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous

1. Information Collection and Use

Anyone may participate anonymously in the 12-Step program of Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA).

Members of FA who choose to do so may also create a free profile on the FA website. A profile enables members to save their favorite meetings, listen to speaker recordings, and read FA's digital magazine.

When you create a profile on foodaddicts.org, the World Service office of Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous collects personal information to communicate with you. This includes your email address and phone number if you subscribe to text messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

 If you opt-in to receive FA email notifications or FA text notifications, we will use your information to send you news and information regarding FA. We do not share your information with any third parties.

3. Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from email and text message communications at any time. Follow the unsubscribe link in our emails or text "STOP" to opt-out of text messages.

You can ask for your information to be deleted completely from FA's database. Email web@foodaddicts.org or call the FA Office and we will process this request within 48 hours.
